The alaris Butterfly Park in Sassnitz is a part of the tropical rainforest. Hundreds of free-flying exotic butterflies lurk beneath the glass roof amidst lush tropical plants. From the small, lively only 3 cm large glass wing called Greta oto on the bright blue glittering sky butterflies from Peru to 32 cm immobile Atlas Silkworm (his caterpillars produce the atlas) are about the season (6 April to November 1) to observe about 140 different species from four continents. At the same time about 300 butterflies from 25 species fly. The lifespan of tropical moths is quite short. Every day about 30 - 40 new ones hatch, with some luck you can watch them hatch.
