Our 2nd restaurant opened its doors in Charlottenstrasse in spring 2017. It is right around the corner from Checkpoint Charlie – one of the most famous Berlin border crossings and spy swap points during the Cold War. The space fits 80 seats and features an airy, modern vibe with individual touches and finishes such as the ornamental metal panels on the block painted yellow ceiling inspired by the Mexican visionary architect Luis Barragán. It perfectly combines the cosmopolitan feel with a bit of California cool flair provided by the 300 sqm outdoor patio. The patio is unarguably one of the best spots in this part of town to kick back and enjoy a couple of cocktails which were added to the menu during the summer months. Another new addition was the introduction of barista brewed coffee with Berlin’s very own Bonanza Coffee beans using only the best regional produce.
