About
Once a manor, today a manufactory for fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin: the Schwechow fruit distillery is located within historic walls on the Schwechow estate (built in 1229) and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The origins of the distillery go back to the 18th century. The estate received the "distilling rights" for potato schnapps at the time. Today, under the motto "preserve tradition, shape the future", high-quality spirits are created here - many of them in limited editions. In addition, high-quality meat and sausage products from local hunts, delicious jams, honey from the Schwechow apple orchard and many other – mainly regional – delicacies are offered in our own farm shop.
