For more than eight decades, wine lovers, hikers, those attending courses and anybody looking for a bit of relaxation and a break from everyday life have met at our hotel. There are plenty of reasons to visit our romantic "Ahr"-valley. The Hotel "Haus Appel" is situated beneath the "Rotweinwanderweg" (named after the renowned red wine vinyards) and above the cycle paths and is therefore the perfect starting point for wine lovers, hikers and visitors. Everything what you want and need is here: extensive walks, bicycle tours, motor bike tours, fishing, hiking... The health resort Bad Neuenahr or the romantic town Ahrweiler with its historic town centre are just 7 km away and Cologne or Bonn can be reached within 40 minutes by car.
