Each Saturday we offer at 2pm an english and german FREE TOUR and at 1pm a spanish FREE TOUR. The tour will take you through the historical city center of Dresden. Meeting Point: Martin Luther statue next to Frauenkirche, look fot the red umbrella. You'll learn how Dresden has developed from a small insignificant settlement to a baroque metropolis. Get to know August the strong the leader of Saxony and Poland that was known for being a muscular womanizer. Hear about the history of world war II in Dresden, and how the attacks in 1945 changed the city. Dresden was for 40 years a city in the socialist county of GDR. Find out how life was like for people at this time and how it changed after the reunification of Germany. The guide can provide you with hints where to find the best local food, where to go out at night or what other places to see. Sights included: Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House, Catholic Court Church, Royal Palace, Procession of Princes, Brühl's Terrace
