We are a small local start up offering wine tastings in Dresden as well as selling wine under our "Weinweiber" label. The Weinweiber group itself was founded in 2017 during a lively wine night at Wackerbarth Castle. It brings together women from the Saxon Wine Route with various roles in winemaking. The group meets regularly to exchange ideas on wine styles, vineyard challenges, and marketing strategies, always accompanied by wine tastings. Recognizing their collective expertise, they created their own wine, which debuted at the 2019 wine festival. Birka, a seasoned wine expert, and Claudia, a certified sommelier and tourism promoter, lead the initiative. The group continues to meet and showcase their wines at events.
