Following the sale of "Ange d'Or Junior", which he ran from 1990 to 2020 in Essen-Kettwig's Ruhr Valley, sommelier Claude Huppertz fulfilled a dream and opened "CLAUDE wein bar" on Fürstenplatz in the lively Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt district in November 2023, an urban wine bar where he also serves creative nibbles and signature dishes, but the focus is on a select international wine selection.
