LUKAS - kulinarischer Bahnhof in Essen-Kupferdreh is a restaurant, pub, beer garden and open air cinema all rolled into one. Dine à la carte on a selection of local and international cuisine. The speciality of the house is braised beef soup served with herb flavoured dumplings and toasted almonds. The restaurant is situated on Baldeneysee in a listed building. It used to be the waiting room of the old railway station in Kupferdreh and is a popular venue for a whole range of events. The LUKAS is a 20 minute car journey from Essen.
