The Black Forest Lodge, a typical Black Forest House in Igelsberg offers accommodations at a fair price in a pleasant, clean and inviting environment. The guest quarters in the typical 19th century Black Forest House feature bright, lovingly decorated rooms, with all basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. The renovation has modernized the house, while leaving nostalgic charm and the history intact. In addition to the private rooms, the house has a large common room area as well as a big garden with a green lawn. For breakfast, we offer a selection of high quality local products. The offer is especially targetted to people looking for an active stay (runners, hikers and bikers and (cross-country) skiers in winter), nature lovers, peace seekers as well as all people who feel comfortable in the lodge. The Black Forest Lodge is situated in Igelsberg in the middle of the Black Forest and it offers various possibilites to nature lovers, sports enthusiasts as well as people seeking peace and quiet. Igelsberg is a community of 250 inhabitants, located around 10 km north of Freudenstadt. The place is idylically situated on a sunny hill, surrounded by fields, meadows and woods. The well-developed and signposted network of trails starts in front of the door and invites to long walks, hikes or runs. There are no restaurants or shops in Igelsberg, but in the neighbor villages that are about 10km away by car.
