The Větrov Castle Hotel, is one of the oldest, historical castles in the Czech Republic. Encompassed by expansive, verdant surroundings, the 15 hec-tares of natural park, aromatic gardens and 6 ponds, make this historical castle hotel a hidden gem, that will harbor a retreat-like experience for its guests. Located right in the heart of a natural Bohemian park, outside the city of Aš — Větrov Castle Hotel is blessed with a wonderful natural setting. The water emerging from the underground springs graciously flows into a series of cascades and fish ponds which complete the castle’s scenery and vistas. The history of the castle hotel dates back to 1856 when Mr. Jágr, a business magnate from the town of Aš, built an Old English style manor. After passing through the hands of several owners, the romantic mansion was acquired by the current owner. Following a three-year restoration (2002-2005), the practically abandoned chateaux, reopened its doors as a glorious four-star castle hotel.
