About
Affenberg Salem – a unique wildlife destination on the shores of Lake Constance – covers 20 ha of forest where nearly 200 Barbary macaques roam freely. Visitors stroll along a 1.5 km loop, observe the largest free-flying stork colony in southern Germany, spot fallow deer, and enjoy a beer garden and playground for families. An optional 250 m “Treewalk” lets guests experience the canopy at 12 m height. Combining natural beauty with engaging animal encounters, the park is a must-visit for families, wildlife lovers, and curious travelers.
