LILIENBERG - A PLACE WITH HISTORY The villa LILIENBERG with a view over the Untersee was built in 1840 on a wonderfully situated estate above the Untersee by the Prussian baroness Caroline von Waldau and passed in 1848 to the Constance baroness Betty von Fingerlin, who was a close friend of Napoleon III (Arenenberg). LILIENBERG was already used as an inspiring meeting place, where famous musicians were house guests. On April 21, 1985, a teatime visit of Mr. and Mrs. Reist took place - as guests of Klara and Paul Bigliardi.
