VINETAFloating Event VenueThe ever-growing and increasingly popular Leipzig New Lake Land has provided the perfect platform for the innovative team of Krystallpalast Varieté to create one of the most exclusive event opportunities in Leipzig. VINETA, the unique floating event venue since June 2011, is situated on Lake Störmthal, South of Leipzig.VINETA symbolizes the lost Magdeborn Church and is a memorial to the destroyed neighbourhoods brought about by the Espenhain open cast mining operations.With the height of its eaves reaching 15 meters, it is currently regarded as the highest floating building on a German lake. This distinctive provisional art project aims to bring about public awareness of the new Leipzig Lake District with its aesthetic historical uniqueness.
