Tropical Islands
About
Located in a former airship hangar, Tropical Islands is the world’s largest indoor water park. The resort occupies the enormous Aerium hall, spanning 107 m in height and 1.18 km² in area, and offers a climate‑controlled tropical environment at 26 °C with 64 % humidity. Visitors can explore an indoor rainforest with 50,000 plants and 600 species, enjoy a 140‑metre wide lagoon styled after a coral island, and thrill on the 27‑metre‑tall water‑slide tower that houses four slides and an exciting splash zone. Alongside the splash park, the resort offers over 60 attractions, a sauna & spa complex, and themed accommodation for overnight stays, making it a year‑round destination for families, adventure seekers, and those wishing to escape the winter weather in a tropical setting.
