Our youth hostel in Winterberg is completely modernized. There are mountainbike-trails, a climbing park and a huge area to enjoy winter sports around the mountain "Kappe". You can find a climbing wall, low rope courses and a mountainbike-miniparcours directly at the house of the youth hostel. Hiking tours are a must in this area. Enjoy the view over the Sauerland area and experience a adrenaline trip with the summer toboggan! You want to be with your sports or hiking group or a group of families all by yourself? Perfect! Very close to our hostel you will find our completely remodeled Lodge 842. Groups of fifty or more can book the house exclusively. You can expect plenty of space, bright group rooms and a hall for sports & games with a cozy leisure lounge. You can also sit outside and enjoy the sun here very nicely - on the partly covered terrace with barbecue station and a wonderful wide view over mountain and valley. Lodge 842 has recently been completely renovated and modernized. Look forward to a great ambience and many ideas around the theme of the forest!
