Holiday Inn - The Niu, Loco Munich North, An IHG Hotel
About
The niu Loco takes its name from the former Hirschau ironworks in the English Garden, which produced world-famous locomotives not far from the current hotel location over 175 years ago. The name Loco is derived from the English term "locomotive". The niu Loco picks up on this history and brings it to life with a colourful nightlife atmosphere: Industrial chic meets club! Colourful candy pastel meets rudimentary remnants of the steam locomotive era: connecting rods, railway wheels and rails shine in brass and gold design. This look is interpreted uniquely and glamorously in combination with disco balls and reflective surfaces in the hotel interior. In addition to colourful design, the latest technology welcomes you to your room: whether it's high-speed WLAN, a flat screen or a powerful Bluetooth speaker. The Living Lobby invites you to relax and linger with its co-working space and cosy seating. Want even more variety? From the niu Loco, you can reach popular Munich sights such as Marienplatz or the Hofbräuhaus in just a few minutes by car.
