About
One of the world's largest museums on coins and monetary history. Our collection comprises more than 300 000 objects (coins, medals, gemstones, banknotes) from over 2500 years. Our museum has its roots in the 16th century and emerged from the famous cabinets of curiosities of the Bavarian duke Albert V. (1528–1579).
