Cafe OSWALD
About
1798 begins the cake history of the oldest pastry shop in the Palatinate, whose excellent recipes have been handed down over several generations of pastry chefs. When master confectioner Hans Ruckstuhl took over the management in 2000, an elephant and his circus family were out and about on Marktstrasse to advertise the performances. Delicious scent wafted out through the open confectionery door onto the street and, magically attracted, the elephant trunk almost to the cake counter. So it is obvious that the choice fell on an elephant as a symbol for a new beginning on Königstraße. As a gourmet, sensitive family animal and thanks to his sustainable footprint, he stands for the quality of the products on offer and the demands of the owners. This episode and the fine cake stories will now be continued. The Ruckstuhl family and team are looking forward to your visit in the new premises at Königstraße 55. A new chapter begins in 2021
