Lake Titisee
About
Lake Titisee is a glacial alpine lake that sits at 845 m in the southern Black Forest of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its clear turquoise waters, surrounded by pine‑lined shores, make it a favourite destination for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and pedal boating in the summer months. Surrounding the lake is the bustling spa town of Titisee‑Neustadt, home to wellness hotels, thermal baths and a host of fitness and relaxation services. In winter the lake hosts the world‑famous Hochfirstschanze ski jump and a 1.2 km long toboggan run, while the promenade offers gentle hiking trails and scenic walks. Whether you visit for water‑based recreation, winter sports, or a quiet escape into forested mountain scenery, Lake Titisee promises a memorable experience for all ages.
