Welcome to Wolfcenter Doerverden! We would like to introduce ourselves: This privately owned center opened in April 2010 with the purpose of educating people and promoting a long lost carnivore: Canis lupus, better known as the wolf. Due to great fears based on very old stories, fairy tales and ignorance human beings in Central Europe despised the wolf and spent lots of time and effort to hunt and kill these animals.
