About

The Museum Bayerisches Vogtland (Bavarian Vogtland Museum) is both Hof's city museum and a regional museum for the region of the Bavarian Vogtland. It has several departments: an extensive permanent exhibition on the town and regional history of Hof and its surroundings, an impressive natural history department with many stuffed animals and, since January 2012, the new department “Refugees and displaced persons in Hof since 1945”. In the neighboring Reinhart Cabinet, works from the city's art collection are on display.
