The former Cistercian monastery is a historic place that now offers a new function. For over 11 years, an ambitious interdisciplinary program has been offered on the cutting edge of art and communication. „DA“ is not only an abbreviation of the word "Denkmal-Atelier": Due to the communication strategy of the art house, it is also regarded as a referring concept and serves as an exclamation word which expresses surprise and symbolises pointing. „DA“ means search and find, „DA“ stands for change and movement. This refers to a program which not only tracks the history and roots of the place, but above all exhibits new, unknown and surprising art and thus stimulates debate.
