In 2023, K8 Institut für strategische Ästhetik gGmbH founded the new jazz festival "fill in - International Jazz Festival Saar" with initiator and artistic director Oliver Strauch. "fill in" presents 100 percent jazz! The festival exclusively shows jazz music by world stars and up-and-coming jazz music talents. The 2024 line-up includes: Martin Weinert's Nachtwind Ensemble, The Cookers, Zara McFarlane, Alfredo Rodríguez, Roni Kaspi Band, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra with Camille Bertault, Thomas Siffling, Marcel Loeffler, the Gramophoniacs and Jan Garbarek feat.
