In the summer, Bad Segeberg is at the mercy of the Indians. On the large outdoor stage, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand perform stunts with horses and lassos and open-air concerts take place in a unique open-air ambience. The Kalkberg (limestone mountain) rises above the town. The hostel is on the outskirts of Bad Segeberg. It is located right on the banks of Great Segeberg Lake. Bad Segeberg Youth Hostel offers single, double, 4-bed and 6-bed rooms, showers/toilets in the corridors, 6 rooms for group leaders and 4 family rooms with shower/toilet, 5 common rooms, cosy club room with a stove, family lounge with games, W-LAN, 2 table tennis rooms, bicycle storage, big playing field with playground, area for playing football with handball goals, volleyball court, table tennis and barbecue site.
