About

In the hunting estate of Prince Leopold IV von Lippe from 1910, there is now an Orthodox monastery located in the buildings. Currently, five members of the brotherhood reside in the monastery. There is a field kitchen nearby, where you can try four types of soup, and there is also a snack bar with delicious burgers. The territory of the monastery covers 4 hectares and includes an adjacent lake. Visitors can enter the monastery temple or take a stroll to the lake, which features an open access to a pier. There is a playground for children on the monastery grounds. For glamping enthusiasts, dome houses with terraces and beautiful scenic views are available for rent here. The monastery grounds are home to many birds, which will be interesting for both adults and children. There are peacocks, chickens of various breeds, pigeons, ducks, geese, and turkeys. Here, one can rejuvenate the soul and regain strength in the silence and tranquility, alone with nature and God.
