ou will find the French way of life, with its ease and cosyness only at very special places. One of them is our restaurant „Jean“ in Eltville am Rhein. The Frankenbach family always had an affinity for France and the French lifestyle. The French short form for the name Johannes (=Jean) soon became the nick name of our Chef. Therefore it was destined to become the namesake for his restaurant. Chef Johannes Frankenbach offers upscale German, French inspired cuisine with seasonal and regional influences as well as special menus. In November 2014 the restaurant „Jean“ was recognized by Guide Michelin with one star.
