Set at the foot of the Grosser Falkenstein mountain, our traditional 3-star hotel in the peaceful village of Lindberg invites you to explore the beautiful Bavarian Forest National Park. Our Hotel provides country-style, non-smoking rooms amid picturesque hiking trails, bicycle routes, and ski runs. In the evening, we offer you local specialities in our hotel restaurant. Situated at an altitude of 720 metres, the hotel offers a wonderful view of the Grosser Arber mountain, also known as the king of the Bavarian Forest. Right outside the front door you find several hiking trails, bicycle paths and cross-country ski runs. Behind the hotel you find the Mittelsteighütte forest with its magnificent population of tall, ancient trees. The Zwieslerwaldhaus Skiwanderzentrum (cross-country ski centre) lies nearby, while the Grosser Arber alpine ski resort is some 10 kilometres away. Attractive day-trip destinations include the glass-producing town of Zwiesel, historic mining town of Bodenmais, and 3-river city of Passau. You can even explore the nearby Czech Republic.
