About

After a year of transition due to relocation, the Crete Undewater Center is happy to announce its reopening for the 2020 season from the beginning of April. Located on the seafront, in the town of Aghios Nikolaos, it is the ideal place to discover scuba diving and freediving in the warm and clear waters of The Cretan Sea. Owned and managed by local diver, Pavlos Marnellos, and a french PADI scuba and freediving instructor (who speaks fluent english), Emmanuel Chateau, they have extensive knowledge of the local sites and marine life. Our facilities include a classroom with modern teaching materials such as PADI e-learning, books and videos in different languages, 30 sets of new diving gear and a high powered 7.50 m RIB boat wich enable divers to access over 25 dive sites within the area. Divers from worldwide recognized Organisations are very welcome. To practice or discover freediving, we also provide PADI freediving courses and discover freediving with a PADI freediving instructor.
