"Portes" in Greek means doors. The family tavern "Portes" opens its doors for the first time in 1965 as a traditional "kafenio", with a few culinary choices. In 1981 the next generation takes over and names it for the first time as "Manolis Restaurant" and then. in 1996, the name "Portes" comes with no intesion of leaving.
