The wind farm on Koh is located in the heart of the lagoon "Kefalos Bay". The wind here is predominantly of the northern directions (Melteme) and almost always blows from the shore at a slight angle. In the morning hours, from 9.00 the wind is not strong, which is ideal for beginners, and by noon gaining strength, sufficient for gliding. The peak of the wind usually falls at 13.00 - 16.00 hours, and around 18.00 hours the wind begins to subside. Absolute smooth water of the lagoon is ideal for both the entry level and advanced elements for professionals. The coastline is covered with sand with a small percentage of rounded pebbles.
