Jacaranda is part of a seafront complex in the village of Karavomylos, approximately 2km outside the small port of Sami. Set amid pretty gardens and with a shared swimming pool, the complex is only 10 metres from a quiet beach lined with eucalyptus trees and wonderful views of Ithaca. Within the village itself there is a bakery/cafe and several traditional tavernas are all within easy walking distance. A 20 min walk along the beach takes you to the town of Sami with its many restaurants, supermarkets, butchers, bakeries, pharmacy and ATM . A car is not necessary as taxis are readily available, but it is well worth exploring the stunning island of Kefalonia and Karavomylos is in a good central position to reach all areas easily. Organised tours of the island, car and bike hire can be arranged from Sami and it is possible to catch the ferry to various locations including Ithaca, the Greek mainland and Italy. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms, one with large 3/4 size twin beds and one with a double bed. In the lounge area the sofa opens into a double bed for 2 more guests if required. There is a SMART television player in the lounge and free Wi-fi for guests to use. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering holidays with hob, oven, toaster, crockery, utensils, fridge freezer, coffee machine, washing machine and iron to make your stay comfortable. A cot and high chair are also provided. Outside there are French doors opening onto a patio with a dining area seating six and a small gated garden. Towels, beach towels and linen are provided.
