"A river flows in Athens" informs us Kostas Anastopoulos, owner of the bookstore and publishing "Alpheus". The first versions of "Alpheus" were left-wing viewpoint books focusing on topics the National Resistance and the Civil War, and particularly in the Peloponnese. But the course was enriched with political and philosophical essays, and poetry and literature books. The bookstore currently has several rare editions and a wide range of scientific books.
