Right in the historical center of Athens, housed in a neoclassical building from the 1890’s, you can find Asteriskos, a venue of Associations of Greeks for Culture and Development. Oriented towards the Mediterranean culture, the Asteriskos team has created a hospitable area on two floors welcoming both artists and visitors. The architecturally unspoiled Asteriskos with it’s the picturesque interior courtyard, which is open from spring onwards, are an ideal environment for relaxation. The menu offers a variety of flavors in small, imaginative dishes that accompany this unique setting. The Asteriskos experience is completed by live music events figuring many of the country’s prominent contemporary musicians on the ground floor area, while other cultural activities often take place in the upstairs venue.
