Playhouse is a company that was established in 2000 with one board-game café in the center of Thessaloniki. This café caused a wave in the city´s life, and resulted in a turn towards board-gaming and a new colorful trend in the café business. Playhouse introduced a new alternative way of having fun, combining coffee with game playing and radio music. The espresso bar offers a big variety of coffees, drinks, snacks, and desserts, with a great emphasis on quality of material and presentation. However, the one thing that differentiates Playhouse, thus making it unique, is the quality of its games’ collection. The games, almost 500 different titles at the moment, are chosen amongst many more that are produced every year, and are then tested, translated and finally introduced to the gamers.
