BUILT 1640 | RESTORED 2022 The Hotel AZADE is noble, kind and free spirited and is inviting you to enter its private world of true Cretan Hospitality. Azade is in the heart of the Old City of Chania. The building, a 17th century Venetian and Ottoman villa, has a rich history. Notable among its former owners and residents are American poet and artist Charles Henri Ford, as well as an Ottoman Pasha whose name sadly eludes records.
