Villa Selene is designed with a Gated Swimming Pool to help restrict access for young children. Parents can sit on the shaded patio and easily keep an eye on the kids. The villa has 2 bedrooms to sleep 2 - 6 people, but additional bedrooms can be made available on request. Located in our St Basil Olive Grove, only 3 minutes drive from the beach at Almirida (sometimes spelled Almyrida), in North West Crete (30 minute drive from Chania Airport). Only a 12 minute walk is the 1000-year old Greek village of Gavalochori with tavernas & shops. The villa is NOT built on a cramped housing development! It shares the olive grove with only 4 other villas (all owned by us) and is not directly overlooked. The road to Almyrida has only light traffic during the day and occasional vehicles at night, yet you are never far from civilization and the cafe culture and nightlife of nearby villages. Suitable for wheelchair users. Car advised - beach and villages within walking distance.
