Welcome to Arodamos "Stone Grove", a destination of gastronomy and tradition in the heart of Dafne, Heraklion, Crete. The name "Arodamos" in the Cretan dialect means "new branch", like the fresh foliage that emerges in spring, symbolizing rebirth and new beginnings. Our restaurant is housed in a historic traditional Cretan house, built in 1923 by the Giakoumaki family. The building, with its unique character, was completely renovated in 2006 and turned into a space that combines authentic Cretan hospitality with artistic expression, hosting musical evenings, photo exhibitions and tastings from the region's leading wineries. Arodamos is more than a restaurant. It is a place where tradition meets modern creativity, offering Mediterranean flavors and traditional Greek dishes, cooked in the wood oven, in a unique environment with stone, trees and natural beauty.
