The Folklore Museum in Archanes, also known as Archanes Mansion, is housed in a restored two-story building dating from 1771. The tour of the museum brings to life the atmosphere of past centuries and shows the visitor the way of organization and operation of an ancient archanes mansion. With the philosophy of the "open museum", precious objects and rich collections are highlighted in their natural space, starting from the paved courtyard to the old kitchen and going up the stairs to the large living room of the old mansion and its bedroom. The exhibits include everything that could have been in a mansion at the time of the great financial prosperity of the Archanes, but also objects that constitute historical memory for the nation. The museum also exhibits an important collection of various items dating from the 18th to the early 20th century. Enjoy the journey into the past and into the depths of the ages.
