Crystal-clear water awaits. Villea Village is located on the SE of Crete, where you find authentic Crete. Individual units surround an olive grove; each kitchenette apartment has its own patio or balcony. This small family-run resort has showed warm Cretan hospitality for decades. It is private yet you can find an activity to join next door or in our rec centre. Hear Cretan music, learn Cretan dancing, drink Cretan wines and local spirits, have a go at quiz night, enjoy poolside bbqs or do nothing at all. Lie around the 25m pool, relax in our gardens, or walk 50m to the sandy beach (and shops and restaurants). This fishing village is full of seaside tavernas. Indoor/outdoor restaurants serve famed local cuisine. Walking to the village or to town centre is flat. Behind our boutique resort are gorges for hiking... some walk to local mountain villages for a beer. In front of the resort is the main village road along beachfront. Guest return multiple times to simply lie by the pool; or spend time watching local craftsmen and fishermen ply their trade. Many guests comment "once is not enough". The nightlife, hiking and archaeological finds abound in this area. It is one of those precious areas that allows a cultural relaxing holiday.
