Over the hot summer months, a visit to the air-conditioned museum makes a refreshing break. The museum is one of the most important preserved Ottoman buildings in Molyvos, it is owned by the Municipality and is listed as a protected monument by the Ministry of Culture. The baths were public, shared by men and women on alternate days or at different hours, and directly connected to the Ottoman daily and religious life. The baths stopped working in the 1960s.
