Leptokarya is one of the famous summer resorts, situated on Olympus Riviera, in northern Greece, at the foot of the legendary Olympus mountain. Leptokarya is the ideal place to spend a peaceful holiday ; here one can find cafeterias, restaurants, gift-shops, supermarkets, as well as clubs and discos, situated along the beach. The beach of Leptokarya is sandy-stony, with all the facilities for the tourists (sun-beds, umbrellas), and the water of the Aegean Sea is very clear and calm. Leptokarya is the ideal place for a relax-holiday, but it is also a charming Greek town, where you can feel the Greek spirit and enjoy the local traditions. Every Tuesday, in the center of Leptokarya, the villagers organize a local market, where one can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, local sweets, olive oil and other products directly from the local producers. Hotel Balkan is situated in the center of Leptokarya, close to the central park, with play-ground for children. The train station, as well as the bus station, are closed to the hotel, offering our guests the possibility to explore the surroundings (direct access to Thessaloniki, Katerini, Nei Pori). The hotel is 200 m away from the beach, but one can take the main commercial street to the beach (aprox 400 m distance). The position of our hotel, its facilities, but most of all our hospitality and the familiar atmosphere that we offer to our guests, recommend us as your first holiday option for couples, groups of friends or families with children. Hotel Balkan welcomes its guests with 50 rooms (38 rooms situated in "Balkan Hellas" wing and 12 rooms situated in "Balkan Sun" wing). Our hotel rooms are decorated in bright colors, with street view or view to the garden with swimming-pool. The rooms are double (twin or matrimonial bed), triple or quadruple, ideal for all our guests : couples, families with children, groups of friends, school groups etc. The hotel rooms offer the following facilities : kitchinette, balcony, TV, bathroom with shower, free WI-FI. Hotel Balkan has a beautiful garden with Mediterranean vegetation, swimming-pool (free access and sun-beds for the hotel guests), children swimming-pool, pool-bar, restaurant (available for groups), reception, lobby, luggage-room, elevator. We often organize theme-parties ("Disco Party", "Greek Party" etc) for our hotel guests, as well as different events, personalized according to our corporate clients requests - seminars, exhibitions, work-shops.
