Taverna 'The Old Perithia' is located at the center of the square and it's the only one that lasted, as it's been running since 1863. The family has always been the same and the taverna passes from the grandfather to the grandchild. At first it was serving the locals and the villagers and later the tourists. For about 150 years, what you experience with us is that a friendly environment and a good service can be combined with the traditional taste we offer and a high quality. We will offer exquisite dishes made with ingredients from our own garden. Here you will find specialities from Perithia and the entire Corfu, cooked by meticulously following our grandparents' recipes. You can enjoy original Greek food in the summer atmosphere, in bright daylight or under the stars of Old Perithia. You will also find a great variety in delicious appetizers, that if you let the waiter choose for you, you will definitely be more than amazed. Don't forget to try grandma's walnut cake, made with walnuts that we pick from walnut trees located in our village. Our taverna is the ideal choice if you want to rest while admiring the view of mountain Pandocrator or the sun clock on the wall of the old town hall. You can drink a coffee or a drink and enjoy your lunch or dinner.
