Live a unique experience staying at CORNELIA, with a zero energy footprint in beautiful Kissamos in Chania, Crete, where Balos Falasarna and Lafonissi are located, under the rare and protected palm tree over 1000 years old.This is a beautiful gated site 100 meters from beaches in a zero crime area in the small seaside village Traxilos. Inside our site there are heavy-duty glamping tents adapted to the ground, with a design of the legendary hippie WV COMBI 1965, with a super double mattress and furniture. The waterproof awning has blackout film and UV protection. The WV COMBI 1965 tents also contain, bed linen, large shade awning, table, chairs, lounge chairs, sofa and an ice cooler (we supply you with free ice daily). Each COMBI 1965 has a private WC with chemical toilet, shower, sink and hot water. We do not use electricity but solar energy lamps. Phone and tablet chargers also use only solar energy. Your pets have their own dishes and we will provide you with free bags for their droppings. The place has private parking. At the entrance you will find shared Trekking Telescopic Batons that you can borrow for free for your hike, Outdoor exercise equipment and a lending/swap library. The hosts who live next to CORNELIA, are always available 24 hours a day to serve you so you can experience the famous Cretan hospitality. Food, snacks, croissants, standard breakfasts and coffee can be purchased from the nearby small town of Kissamos, which is only a 3-minute drive away. There is also a bakery and a coffee shop just 1 minute drive away. Upon consultation, the hosts can arrange for your food to be picked up at noon and in the evening with catering of Cretan cuisine at very low prices. You can ride in the horse rental area next to CORNELIA. Trekking on the E4 trail. You can rent a small boat for day cruises on the enchanting Balos, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The small port of Kissamos, which serves this purpose, is just two minutes away by car. You can also go to Balos with your car. You can visit in 10 minutes by car the enchanting Falasarna where it is also one of the best beaches in the world. If you want to travel a little further south about 1 hour drive, you will be able to visit the third famous beach of our region, Lafonisi, which is also one of the best in the world.
