About

Rarity Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded by Vassilis Matsaidonis and Christos Nikolaou in 1994 and located in the heart of Mykonos Town. The 200‑m² space, housed in a historic early‑20th‑century manor house, hosts six exhibition halls that showcase over 60 artists from around the world, ranging from established names such as Peter Halley, Julian Opie and Christo, to up‑coming creatives. The gallery’s mission is to nurture young talent and to provide a platform for contemporary art that challenges the boundaries of everyday life. With a focus on geometric abstraction, digital installations and pop‑culture references, visitors experience a dynamic conversation between art, technology and society. Whether you’re an art‑enthusiast, a cultural traveller or simply looking for a unique cultural encounter, Rarity Gallery offers a vibrant, thought‑provoking experience in one of Greece’s most iconic destinations.
