Traditional restored winery consisting of two separate houses with private oriental garden and tiny swimming pool in Finikia (Oia - Santorini). Offers privacy,relax, ocean and sunset view from the terraces Old wine factory complex (Canavas), probably since the middle ages, took its final form in 1798 and was finally renovated in year 2000 by the architect owner of the property. This robust building is divided in two separate and independent houses (main house and guest house). They are sharing one oriental garden with a tiny swimming pool,(very suitable for children), trees and flowers. Each house has separate terraces with excellent view to the islands of the archipelago. This property is quite famous, and has been shown in many architectural magazines and documentaries for traditional style and life in Santorini. This old winery building complex, restored to a luxury villa, consisting on 2 houses (main domain and guest house) is located on the north-west side of Santorini, at Finikia village , very close to Oia . The Winery Villa (both domains). Sleeps (6 - 8) persons Winery House, where dreams live... (The Main Building) This robust building is composed by two interconnected large cave rooms (canavas) of a total 160 sq.m, surface. Its halls were used for the wine production and for stocking the barrels. Both canavas enter from the courtyard where the main entrance to the house is. The big open space (of over 80 sq.m.) of the eastern canava includes, the living room with build benches, the dining room, the kitchen and an (open) cave bedroom with a double bed. The major bedroom is one entire hall (the western canava) of 70 sq.m. This includes the master bedroom with one build-in Kings Size bed, and above this, a wooden (open) loft with two single sleeping mattresses. Both rooms are decorated in high style. Ideal for 4 - 6 persons. The House of the Birds (Guest house on the oriental garden): There was the place they were keeping the “Floria” singing birds (ancient Santorinian tradition). Independent Studio of 30 sq. m. including bedroom with “antique” style double bed, Bathroom with WC, Kitchenette with separate entrance, and private terrace with ocean view. Ideal for 2 persons.
