The Art Studio in Charakopio is a working Artist’s studio, as well as a shop, gallery and teaching space. Open year-round, its the studio of Gill Tomlinson and her ‘Inspired by Greece’ artwork. It's located close to the car park in the centre of Charakopio village, which is about 4,5km north of Koroni on the main Kalamata road. At the studio you can browse original paintings and prints, plus cushion covers, calendars, marble coasters, trivets, postcards and tote bags, all with Gill's unique designs. There's also a selection of handmade items created just for the shop - greetings cards, notebooks, hand-painted fridge magnets, zip bags, and other goodies which make great gifts. Gill offers tailored art workshops in the studio for individuals, couples or small groups of friends. * Winter hours vary - summer hours are shown here - so please contact me first to check I'll be open if you're making a special trip out if season!
