Asikiko Suite is in the historical still-local Rethymno, one of the areas where you can most immediately experience everyday life, shopping for your vegetables off the local market, walking under the snapping banners of laundry hung out to dry, hearing whispering sounds from the local cafes. Asikiko Suite is equipped with all the comforts of home, including satellite television, fully air conditioned and complimentary wi-fi internet access, to ensure an enjoyable stay. The striking open-plan living/dining room reveals the structure of stone and beam. Everything contributes to the consistent contemporary aesthetic. This lovely suite has 2 bedrooms, one of which is a wonderful loft type bedroom, reached by a wooden ladder and it’s ideal for a four membered family or two couples. The bathroom is a visual and functional pleasure and the kitchen is glam and efficient, great for coming home laden from the market or from a well-selected takeaway joint of which there are plenty to choose from. Just in case you are not in this mood, the owners Giorgia & Giorgos helpful, flexible and friendly and more than willing to arrange a meal in the owner’s - Asikiko - Restaurant some steps further. If you insist on renting a (small) car, you can park it the streets around in 200 meters distance. Gratefully, there is plenty of space for your bicycles. Part of the hip new Rethymno is going by bike—with skirts and high hills if you please.
