B&B Monastiriako opened in October 2022 with new owners Sylvia and Ed. By refurbishing, renovating, and furnishing, they gave the complex their own touch, while preserving the original and authentic details of the old Venetian monastery building. Together with their dog Bimmer and a changing company of cats, they changed the Monastiriako into an idyllic holiday spot that feels like home. Monastiriako is built on the remains of a small Venetian Monastery. This small-scale rural complex with four holiday units in an authentic, charming style offers simple but complete facilities for a comfortable stay. The four attractive suites have their own unique layout and genuine design and decoration. Each suite has access to the spacious enclosed patio with swimming pool. B&B Monastiriako, situated in the very small village of Giannoudi, is a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beaches and lively shopping streets of Rethymnon. It is surrounded by olive groves, a wooded area and here and there a house. The area offers beautiful views and beautiful hiking trails.
