About
Mylopetra is a traditional tavern (cretan and greek food). It has secondly also a coffee house and a mini market of traditional products. It is situated in the centre of the old village of Maroulas, just 9 km from the town of Rethimno. Maroulas village has a long history. Its buildings have a very interesting architecture, as the Venetian towers and the old houses ("konakia"). Mylopetra has published a book in english and in germany about the history of the village.
