The Ecotourism Hotel of Dadia "Forest Inn" lies right next to the National Park of the Forest of Dadia-Lefkimi-Soufli, at Dadia village, in Northern Greece. This protected natural reserve is worldwide renowned for its diversity of birds of prey, with 36 out of 38 species of the European diurnal birds of prey having been observed here, and, in particular, the rare Black Vulture pairs, representing the only population left in South-Eastern Europe! With "Forest Inn" as your basis, do not miss out on visiting the Delta of Evros river, the physical borderline between Greece and Turkey and one of the largest wetlands of Europe!The Ecotourism Hotel of Dadia "Forest Inn" lies just next to the Information Center. It offers its guests 20 standard double/twin or superior/executive double/twin rooms, with furnished balconies facing either the garden or the forest. The rooms can accommodate more guests upon request. All beds have brand new anatomical and hypoallergenic mattresses, and all rooms have private bathrooms with hair-dryer and complimentary bathroom toiletries, flat-screen 32 inches TV, air-conditioning and central heating, free Wi-Fi at all hotel areas, with additional amenities at the executive rooms. Access to people with special needs is possible at all hotel facilities. Pets are welcome, upon prior notification. Early breakfast and packed lunch for birders is always available upon request. A unique, rich breakfast buffet, is daily prepared based on Greek recipes and homemade products. Coffees, refreshments, and local delicacies are served throughout the day at "Cuppa Café", which offers cozy relaxation by the fireplace in wintertime or on the shaded terrace in the summertime. A significant number of rare birds nest here, such as cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo), egrets (Ixobrychus minutus, Ardea purpurea), ducks (Aythya nyroca, Tadorna ferruginea), and circuses (Circus aeruginosus). During winter times, visitors can observe pelicans (Pelecanus sp.), flamingos (Phoenicopterus sp.), red-geese (Branta ruficollis), and dwarf-geese (Anser erythropus).
